Kelly De Luca was at IILJ from 2003-2004 as a Visiting Doctoral Researcher. She is an assistant professor at Ryerson University Law. She holds a law degree from the University of Toronto and a PhD from Columbia University. Her research interests focus on questions of jurisdiction and the intersection of national and international law, particularly the contested connections between understandings of sovereignty/constitutionalism and the international community. Her current project examines the interplay of these ideas in the context of the historical development of the doctrine of diplomatic immunity.
