The IILJ sponsored a special talk by Professor José E. Alvarez, Herbert and Rose Rubin Professor of International Law and Hauser Faculty Director, for the NYU School of Law community. Professor Alvarez spoke on contemporary trends in international law scholarship, particularly in the US — informed by his recent five year term as co-editor-in-chief of the American Journal of International Law. The talk took place November 15, 12:45 – 1:45 pm, in Furman Hall 334. A light lunch was provided.
