On 6 February 2018, The MegaReg Project of the Institute for International Law and Justice in cooperation with the Jean Monnet Center for International and Regional Economic Law & Justice welcomed Cristie Ford, Associate Professor and Director of the Centre for Business Law at the Peter A. Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia, for a conversation about ideas from her recent book “Innovation and the State: Finance, Regulation, and Justice” (CUP 2017).

Wolfgang Schön, Global Professor of Tax Law and Director of the Department of Business and Tax Law at the Max Planck Institute for Tax Law and Public Finance in Munich, chaired the event. Madison Condon, Fellow at the Institute for Policy Integrity, and IILJ Fellows Paul Mertenskötter and Thomas Streinz served as discussants.
