Nahuel Maisley holds a JD and a Doctorate in Law from the University of Buenos Aires, and an LLM in International Legal Studies from NYU Law. He is an Associate Researcher at CONICET, the Argentinean National Council for Scientific Research, and a Professor of International Law at the University of Buenos Aires. He is also a fellow in the “InfraReg” project at the Institute for International Law and Justice, at NYU.
Nahuel has received a number of scholarships and awards, including the Hauser Global Scholarship, the Jerome Lipper Award in International Legal Studies, the Thomas Franck Scholarship in International Law, the Lloyd N. Cutler Fellowship in International Law, and UBACyT and DeCyT scholarships. His work, which usually combines legal and political theory with international law, has been published in various books and journals, including the NYU Law Review and the European Journal of International Law. In the past, Nahuel has been a visiting scholar at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra (Barcelona) and at the Max Planck Institute for Comparative Public Law and International Law (Heidelberg).
