Josh graduated magna cum laude from the University of Chicago with degrees in Public Policy, specializing in international policy, and Political Science. At Chicago, Josh was part of research projects including analyzing suicide terrorism, the influence of political leaders' ideologies on market intervention, and the development of international institutions after World War II. His thesis explored the relationship between constitutional tradition and economic development. After graduating, Josh worked at Deloitte's Global Trade Advisory practice in New York City, where he supported clients on export controls and sanctions, forced labor, and import matters. He went on to teach English on a Fulbright grant at the Academy of the General Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Uzbekistan, where he taught legal English for students and staff and supported translation projects, and at the Uzbekistan State World Languages University, where he worked with first-year English students.

At NYU, Josh is excited to continue pursuing his interests in law and economic development, security, and comparative constitutions.
