The thirteenth round of EU – U.S. negotiations on the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) agreement took place in New York, NY from 25 till 29 April 2016. The Office of the U.S. Trade Representative (USTR) hosted a stakeholder forum on Thursday, 28 April, to provide an update on negotiations and solicit input and feedback from interested stakeholders, as well as a press conference on Friday 29 April discussing outcomes from the negotiations. MegaReg Fellows Paul Mertenskötter and Thomas Streinz took part in the forum and presented on Third-Party Effects of Transatlantic Regulatory Coordination. During the concluding chief negotiators briefing they engaged with the EU and U.S. chief negotiators of the ongoing TTIP negotiations.
